Brush through your hair. If using heat protectant, follow its directions and let your hair dry fully before styling.
- Choose your settings
Select your temperature, curl time and direction. Start with a lower setting and adjust to suit your hair.
- One small section at a time
Place a small section into the curling chamber, keeping the tool away from your scalp. Press and hold START to wind the hair.
- Release, cool and style
Wait for the timer to finish, then gently release the curl. Let it cool before separating it with your fingers.

Use only on dry hair. The internal barrel gets hot. Keep away from your scalp and skin, do not overfill the chamber, and allow the tool to cool before storing.

I burned myself badly with my last curling iron. How is this different?
